About this Landmark

Towering magnesium limestone cliffs rising over 100 feet on either side of the crystal-clear Narmada river. Famous for sunset and moonlit boat rides where the marble changes hues from pure white to pink and pale blue.

Historical Significance

Described by Captain J. Forsyth in The Highlands of Central India and filmed in numerous Bollywood epics including Mohenjo Daro and Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai.
